Hip Hop lyricist and music veteran RoGarth has dropped his latest album, ‘Curse of Psycho Sampson‘, the eagerly anticipated second instalment in the ‘Psycho Sampson’ series. This versatile rap project invites listeners into a shadowy world of murder mysteries and vigilantism, where every track pulses with witty pop-culture references, sharp lyricism, and trendy beats.
At its core, ‘Curse of Psycho Sampson’ continues the tale of Ralph Psycho Sampson, a notorious serial killer and a determined vigilante sharing the same name, who fights to reclaim his tarnished reputation. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, and now residing in Los Angeles, California, RoGarth maintains strong Midwest roots while pursuing his passion for music. A 20-year veteran in writing and producing, he began his journey at 16 as part of the group STR, releasing his first collection of tracks. After pausing his musical pursuits to focus on a collegiate and professional basketball career, RoGarth retired from athletics and shifted his energy to creating music for television and film. Expanding his presence in the entertainment industry, RoGarth will be featured in the upcoming movie ‘Viper‘ as Santos, an underground MMA fighter. The film includes Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Stephen Dorff, and UFC’s Uriah Hall, and is expected to be released in 2026.
His influences span Hip Hop icons like Bone Thugs & Harmony, who sparked his initial interest, alongside Jay Z’s consistency, Eminem’s emergence, Wiz Khalifa’s creativity, Tech N9ne’s charisma and independence, Juicy J’s longevity, and Lil B’s confidence.
What sets RoGarth apart is his refusal to conform to rapper stereotypes; instead, he positions himself as a creative storyteller using hip-hop and rap to craft immersive narratives.
