The Doctor’s Orders celebrate their 10th Birthday this year and to mark a decade of bringing many of the best live shows and parties to London they have hand picked the most incredible line up of Hip Hop DJ talent to appear at one party ever!
Ask any Hip Hop DJ who their No.1 DJ is and the same name will come up time and time again. In West Philadelphia born and raised DJ Jazzy Jeff is widely regarded as the best DJ on the planet. Since 1985 he has been wowing crowds around the world with his flawless turntable skills, innovative production and musical versatility. Having been a regular for The Doctor’s Orders over the last 5 years the big birthday bash would not be the same without him.
Kutmah was a fundamental force at the birth of the now infamous LA beat scene. Born in Brighton he moved to Hollywood at the age of 12 but returned to the UK when deported under immigration charges in 2010. Since he has been driven to create and released a widely acclaimed album on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Label.
Since the very first party at Herbal back in 2005 The Doctor’s Orders and The Nextmen have been funky bedfellows. With nearly 50 events together in the 10 year’s since the party starting force that is Brad Baloo & Dom Search have always found a solid fan base among The Doctor’s Orders faithful.
Tall Black Guy has brought his Detroit influenced sound and settled here on our fine shores. His soul drenched sounds have won fans around the world among DJs and music heads alike and his club sets are a thing of beauty.
Keeping The Doctor’s Orders parties packed week on week for the last 10 years has been a crack squad of resident DJs that are among the best party rockers in the UK. Shortee Blitz, Spin Doctor, Mr Thing, Mo Fingaz & Russ Ryan will be taking control of a whole room on the night making sure that the mood is set from the moment people are through the doors.
