Adding more smoke to the blazing fire that arose last Friday when Ghetts and Rude Kid dropped the ‘#SixFiveThree’ heat, two new videos are released to bring the tracks ‘One Take’ and ‘Who’s Got A Problem vs. Serious Face’ to life.
The video for ‘One Take’ was shot live at the official EP launch party last Wednesday November 18th held by Ghetts and Rude Kid and supported by Relentless at The Laundry. An intimate crowd of fans and friends became a part of the film; as the beat dropped, Ghetts and Rude Kid were revealed on stage and joined by grime luminaries Kano, Jammer and Frisco, Tinchy Stryder, Mercston, Jammer and Giggs.
The second hybrid video, combines high-energy tracks ‘Who’s Got A Problem and Serious Face’ in one powerful whole. ‘Who’s Got A Problem’ launches with strobe lighting and flashing projections to complement Ghetts’ vibrant and energetic performance as he raps over Rude Kid’s polished and unique sound. The video then cuts into a reload which sees Serious Face, filmed behind the scenes at the EP launch party with cameos from Mercston and Lee Brasco. Both videos were produced by award-winning and respected music director Frost.
Ghetts and Rude Kid had an ambition: recording a six-track EP in five days, simultaneously producing three videos and launching with an unforgettable event, with music at its core, and Relentless was keen to support their vision. Saturated with hard-hitting lyrics, familiar samples and aggressive ad libs, ‘#SixFiveThree’ is a mature body of work that pays homage to both artists’ undeniable talent and innovation while highlighting their current musical direction within the grime and urban UK scene. ‘#SixFiveThree’ was recorded and mixed at the studios at Relentless at Number Five on London’s Denmark Street.
#SixFiveThree is out now via iTunes.
