Sony BMG Music Entertainment are very proud to announce that South Korea’s favourite new Hip Hop team, Part Time Cooks have released their latest project, ‘Baker’s Dozen‘. The 13 track LP is one of the most highly anicipated releases of 2016 and judging by the success of singles such as ‘Seoul Summer,’ ‘Loser’ and ‘2KFYG,’ fans can be sure that the project has been worth the wait.
‘Baker’s Dozen‘ is the apex of the sound that PTC has been cultivating during the past two years, with production assistance from the usual accomplices, MJ Nichols, ThovoBeats, The Soul Academy, and Scotty Soul. The album features 13 original tracks performed by Black Moss, Saul Goode & Joe Rollins. Recorded at CL Creative Studios, Seoul and mixed & mastered by ‘Midnight Snack‘ EP maestro, Jangsoo, the project takes the listener on a journey to witness the growth of Part Time Cooks since its birth in May 2014.
The LP runs covers a number of topics from sharing bunk-beds in ‘Secret Love ( The Snuggle Song )’ all the way to addressing police brutality and xenophobia in South Africa in arguably the hardest hitting track on the album.
