For one night only, Soundcrash are proud to present an epic night of drum and bass with two of the greats DJ Marky & LTJ Bukem.
Get ready for a monster night at the superb Electric Brixton on Friday 2nd April as DJ Marky and LTJ Bukem slay the dancefloor with heavy riddims.
Hosting the night are none other than MCs Dynamite and SP, serious forces in the MC world, picked out to step up for some of the biggest DJs in the world of drum and bass.
We’ve also got Tom Central stepping up with a dnb classics set, and very special guests still to be announced.
If that wasn’t enough, we’ll be throwing a huge warm up DnB boat party with special guests TBA. Tickets for both events can be purchased as part of a ticket bundle or individually.
DJ Marky will be flying in especially fromSao Paulo to bring his flavour of Brazilian-inspired breaks. After grabbing the attention of Goldie and Dj Hype in 1999, Marky has gone on to impress the entire UK scene and quickly grabbed “best new dj” by music critics. He has gone on to release 2 critically acclaimed albums In Rotation and Influences, headlined Lovebox and kept his name in the scene through countless features on Radio and in Fifa Street. At the age of just 28 he holds his own with D&B legends.
LTJ Bukem needs no introduction in the drum and bass scene as one of the greats, a pioneer of the intelligent D&B sub-genre his intricate beats mixed with Marky’s Brazilian flavour is a match made in heaven. His classic training in his teenage years has always been visible with his jazz fusion/ funk influences and intricate piano lines, allowing him to pioneer and nurture the intelligent d&b sound visible throughout his label Good Looking. Along with his production, his experience in live productions through his number of club nights including SPEED with Dj Fabio are visible now more than ever.
The mix of styles and individual talents is something rarely seen and the undeniable connection between these is perfect to get you in the summer mood.
