Artist and Producer ‘Fly’ is South London’s emerging star! A fusion of R&B, Hip Hop and Grime, Fly is one of the UK’s most exciting prospects!
A blend of lyricism and melodic delivery form the basis of his unique sound. As an artist, not just limited to one genre, Fly has had a career in music that spans over 10 years, during which time (under various monikers) he has developed a strong following in the UK and achieved mainstream radio play across stations such as BBC Radio 1Xtra and Kiss FM, to name a few. Furthermore, Fly has gained exposure on key editorials such as SBTV, GRM Daily, Link Up TV and FLAVA; all praising his ability.
Not only has he worked with some of the UK’s biggest acts, including, P Money, Lady Leshurr, Paigey Cakey, J Warner and Starboy Nathan, Fly also featured on the classic Grime track ‘Hands In The Air’ by P2J Project –which spent 6 Weeks at number 1 on Channel AKA. Fly has released various projects with notable visuals such as ‘One Man Solider’ with Little Dee (Channel AKA/FLAVA), ‘Sex Toy’ (Jenny Francis, FLAVA, Channel AKA) and the recent hit ‘Chosen’ which was produced by P2J (25K+ streams).
Taking inspiration from the golden era of 90s R&B and Hip Hop, citing the likes of Michael Jackson, Dizzee Rascal, Drake, Boys II Men and Jay Z as some of his musical inspirations, Fly is not shy about displaying his vulnerable side and maintains an aesthetic of cool, but cocky, in his delivery and word play. A true showman with a stage presence that brings his art to life, Fly has performed at prestigious venues and events including, O2 Academy Islington, O2 Academy Brixton, Concrete (Shoreditch) and Junior Jam.
Moving forward Fly has a massive plan for 2016 with the release of his new EP, ‘The Wave Don’t Stop #TWDS’ and much more, showcasing the artist’s journey and musical development.
Fly makes sure the wave doesn’t stop!
