Dubstep meets the Wild West in Nitti Gritti & Kompany’s monstrous collaboration ‘Badlands’. The two surging bass producers drop some chaotic percussion patterns and grimy wobbles in an absolute behemoth of a New Noise debut.
Hollywood’s own Kompany is on the fast track to success after producing a string of impressive originals and remixes in just one year. An alumnus of prominent music production institute Icon Collective, Kompany is a well-regarded sound designer, releasing presets and sample packs that are prevalently used within the dance music sphere. His remix of fellow IC graduate NGHTMRE’s hybrid banger ‘Touch‘ was heavily supported by the trap kingpin himself in addition to many others in the bass game.
Joining Kompany on ‘Badlands’ is fellow bass enthusiast Nitti Gritti, who has also made serious noise recently by garnering over 500K Soundcloud plays across numerous tracks after joining the platform only three months ago. ‘Badlands’ is not only indicative of dubstep’s furious comeback in electronic music, but also of a major leap forward for these two young and hungry producers.
