Join us on the 8th December as we welcome the Manchester based 9 piece band to Islington’s The Garage for a horn heavy and funk driven live show which combines original material with medleys of classic Hip Hop and BBoy breaks.

The Remixed album release is testament to The Mouse Outfits success and sees producers such as Tall Black Guy, Werkha and Dj Vadim who have been eager to add their own touch to the tracks. Their debut album ‘ Escape Music’ released in 2013 won UK Hip Hop album of the year (Wordplay Magazine) and was ranked in ‘ABC News’ top 50 albums of 2013. Since their debut album The Mouse Outfit have gone from strength to strength releasing a second album ‘Step Steadier’ in 2015 with similar success. The remixed album includes tracks from both Step steadier and Escape music.

The 9 piece band are centred around Chini (keys), Pitch (percussion/MPC) and Defty (bass). They produce a slick combination of quality samples and fiendish beats. They have been influenced by a smorgasbord of soul, jazz, funk, reggae and classic Hip Hop breaks.Laced with lyrics from some of Britain’s most promising emcees, expect an eclectic style of Hip Hop tinged with some extremely tight jazz musicianship from an extremely talented band that give off a very old-school vibe. The Mouse Outfit is conscious British Hip Hop at its very best. The band are a firm festival favourite both here in the UK and across Europe.

The Mouse Outfit posses great stage presence and certainly know how to put on a performance, this is not one to miss!
