Soundcrash are hyped to announce Hip Hop/beats master ILL Sugi for a headline show at the intimate railway arch space of Echoes Live, with special guest support Midori on Saturday 7th January.
Born in Kanagawa, Japan, ILL Sugi is a beatmaker affiliated with the J.M.R crew. In addition to productions made with fellow Japanese beatsmiths Budamunk and Bugseed, Sugi got signed on the legendary Jazzy Sport label in early 2015, releasing his first – and already classic – LP ‘Stiff Fingers’.
He went on to produce the ‘Urban Maze’ LP for MENACE, and more recently, the ‘Slow Light’s’ LP his second installment released on Jazzy Sports.
Support for the night is Midori, french producer, radio host and label manager who moved to Japan to come immersed in the Hip Hop/beats scene, and heads up the record label MENACE.
Both ILL Sugi & Midori are 2 super talented djs in their own right, this is going to be a very special night in an intimate setting – only 100 tickets available.
