North West London based emcee Casscade drops his new mixtape, LIVING IN THE MOMENT
Already having received Co-signs from the likes of Jamal Edwards of SBTV, RWD magazine and Hype Magazine in America for previous projects ‘Beyond the eyes’ , ‘Curse Of A Creative’ and ‘Only For The Summer’, this project is a large statement for the rapper/songwriter emerging from North West London.
Casscade is continually growing as an artist. Forever trying to push boundaries and reach new Plateau’s within his sound and it seems he has been on an upward spiral ever since his track ‘Every Year‘ caught the attention of BBC 1xtra’s very own Charlie Sloth and was premiered by the man himself! This was then followed up by the release of ‘BMT‘ on Westside Radio by Rebecca Judd who listed Casscade as a one to watch this year and with the final instalment ‘Mood Rings’ which was premiered on Annie Nightingale’s show on 1xtra and then picked up by 1xtra resident DJ Cable!
With the impact of every release becoming more and more evident and contagious, Casscade is ready to break down even more doors this year with this body of work and steadily make his way to becoming a household name by showcasing a whole new vibe sonically With impressive lyrics and melodies.
Casscade speaks on the project: “This project was inspired by life itself. It was like a build up of moments from last year to now of trying to enjoy life with friends, life experiences and working hard on myself. I took a break just before summer last year to get my mind right, work on the craft some more and get that uptempo fire that I felt like I lost back. I want anybody who listens to this body of work to singalong, feel they need to hit the volume and have this pumping through the system before they head out on a summers day or anytime they are looking forward to enjoying a moment. Nothing but good vibes. This project needs to be part of your daily routine!”
