There is a serious international Hip Hop movement taking place in Seoul, South Korea that you may not have heard about, so let’s get you up to speed
North Carolina native, Saul Goode and Durban South Africa’s own, Black Moss met in Seoul just 3 years ago with no intention of staying in Korea for more than a year or two. Goode and Moss, both solo emcees in their respective hometowns, formed Part Time Cooks unaware of how big an impact they would have on the Asian Hip Hop scene. In the past few months alone, Seoul has hosted the likes of Anderson .Paak, Wiz Khalifa, J Live, Koncept, and Well$, and Part Time Cooks has had a hand in every event.
If you are tuned into which artists to look out for in 2017 then, along with PTC, North Carolina emcee Well$ should definitely be on your list. They have teamed up to produce an anthem in ‘Obey’, The first official single of a joint EP they are cooking up for late 2017. The song is produced by Durban producer, Champ, making this a refreshing international collaboration.
“Part Time Cooks is at it again this time teaming up with Well$ and Durban producer, Champ, to give us an absolute anthem”.
