Philadelphia’s Bok Nero delivers new single, NOTICE M3 SENPAI! via Dim Mak Records

Driven by jaunty piano phrases and colorful rhymes, Philadelphia’s Bok Nero delivers effortless flow on his cheeky new single ‘Notice M3 Senpai!‘ Drawing lyrical inspiration from the anime world’s ‘senpai’ phenomenon, Bok delivers his first original solo single for 2017. But that by no means should indicate he has been quiet this year…

Bok surged into summer ‘17 with numerous high-profile features. First, he appeared alongside iLoveMakonnen on Steve Aoki’s banger ‘Kolony Anthem‘ and performed it live on the streets of New York City at Aoki’s Kolony album release party. Bok also performed the track alongside Aoki at Dim Mak’s recent Tomorrowland stage in Belgium, where he additionally joined label mates Stööki Sound for a live rendition of their recent collaborative single entitled ‘Burbs‘. Showing no signs of slowing down, Bok lent his vocals to notorious dubstep producer Zomboy on the single ‘Rotten‘, which hit #1 on Beatport’s Hip Hop Chart.

Known for his energetic spitfire verses and catchy hooks, Bok Nero is on a mission to bring the worlds of Hip Hop and EDM together under one roof. This mission began with ‘Lorde of Legions‘, Bok’s 2016 debut EP and collaboration with producer/mentor Jahlil Beats. The EP fused electronic beats with rock-solid MC’ing and instantly solidified Bok’s name as a budding rap prodigy, garnering praise from FADER, FACT, and HotNewHipHop (to name a few). Following its success, Bok landed a track on Ethika’s buzz-worthy ‘RGB‘ Mixtape (alongside cuts from Meek Mill, 21 Savage, and Kid Ink) to coincide with the launch of Bok’s Ethika underwear signature model.
