Conscious bars flow with real-life stories over a selection of varied beats that tap in to the worlds of jazz, on the ‘sit back and smoke’ vibes of Joe Black’s ‘Better Place’ whilst the deep reverb and back to back bars on ‘Murder These Rhymes’ make for a magnificent representation of what Benny and Joe do best. Features roll in courtesy of Black The Ripper, S Loud, 1st Born, Jovel, Akelle, and YMB and the tape finishes with final words from Benny Banks on a straight-talking freestyle.

Prior to release, the reception for the tape has already been exceptional, seeing the duo take over the airwaves at BBC Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Kiss FM and more. Joe Black has previously been highlighted by Charlie Sloth for The Guardian, as

and Benny Banks has received similar plaudits from the likes of Clash Magazine following early mixtape releases, something ‘BNB’ is set to continue.
