Brooklyn based emcee Nello Luchi drops her new visual for the K’riem Scott produced, I REMEMBER, taken off of her EP, WELCOME: THE AUDIO MOVIE, PT. 1
‘I Remember’ samples the Extra P (Large Professor) remix of Common Sense’s 1995 ‘Resurrection’. She speaks of her most vivid childhood memories growing up in her Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
Nello opens the track by recreating the scene of when she saw Lil Kim’s tears as Biggie’s body past through his block for the final time. She also drops a reference to Nas shouting out her block on ‘You Wouldn’t Understand’ off his 2012 album ‘Life Is Good’. Nello exhibits her great storytelling skills over this nostalgic cut.
The visual was co-directed by Nello & Taylor Flash.
