Urban Vault caught up with East London based recording artist Cianna Blaze, to ask her some questions about her new single ‘Booty Like Nicki, her inspirations, and collaborations
Cianna Blaze is no music newbie. She has been building a loyal fanbase through her hard-edged vocals and unique style. Cianna is a strong-minded person who thrives on female empowerment and incorporates a sense of strength and dominance in her music. From hitting the mic at festivals and drawing on the raw energy of the crowds to delivering distinctive guest vocals, Cianna has gained industry-wide respect.

How old are you?
How long have you been making music?
since I was about since 16.
How many songs albums have you released to date?
wow, to be honest, I’ve put out so much music there would be too much to name! the most recent stuff would be my last EP which was titled ‘On Fire’ it is available to listen to on Spotify.
Can you tell us about your new track ‘Booty Like Nicki’, the background, and inspirations behind it?
My new single is called ‘Booty Like Nicki’, was taken from my new EP called ‘get mine’ I’ve been working on new music nonstop constantly for the past few years so once the first EP was released I had so many songs in the archive and the second EP was ready to go!
when it comes to music, I am inspired by so many day to day things!
How have you ended up in the music industry?
I was the only girl in my group of friends growing up and all of the guys were rappers, I literally tried it just to fit in but ended up loving it and didn’t stop!
What do you think of the music industry in 2017?
It was a great year for Grime, it was nice to see so many grime acts break through!
What have you got planned for 2018?
lots more music and live shows! more music videos and just more of Cianna Blaze haha!
What inspires you when you make your music?
To be honest, inspiration comes from so many different places and experiences. life, in general, inspires me, people inspire me.
Who have you collaborated with so far in your Career?
I’ve worked with artists such as DDark, Oxxy Miron, Champas, Porchy, Martika LA.
Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?
I would love to work with Nicki Minaj or Cardi B both are so fire!
What’s your favorite track at the moment?
Cardi B – Bodak Yellow.
What do you do when your not making music?
I work out, catch up with friends and do a little bit of drawing now and again.
