Can you tell us about your upcoming new five-track EP ‘Boxing With God’, the background, and inspirations behind it?

Well Boxing With God is an EP born out of all my musical experiences so far. The name comes from the fact we as humans are so small compared to all the natural beauty of the world like the sea, mountains and yet we still get caught up in our own importance. Musically it’s the best I’ve ever offered out so far and I feel I’m getting stronger and more consistent all the time.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

Well always loved music and when I was at University I ended up with a couple of DJ’s Mr. Scruff and DJ Yoda who took me under their wings then pretty much fast forward five years I started putting music out.

What did you think of the music industry in 2017?

Music Industry is one of them, where you gotta take it all with a pinch of salt, musically if you know where to look you can always find some great artists rather than manufactured artists who in my opinion have a shelf life, myself I’m here for the long haul.

What have you got planned for 2018?

Get this release out, playing some great gigs all over the country but the main one I’m looking forward to is playing Soundwave in Croatia.

What inspires you when you make your music?

Everything around me, usually whatever I’m feeling at the time. Everything I do is born out of collaboration or my twisted imagination.

Who have you collaborated with so far in your Career?

Iggy pop, Simon Boswell, Leeroy Thornhill, Fullmarx, Ruby Tingle, Argh Kid, Lou Barnell, Sasha Pannu, Miss Haze Bradley Lynch a lot of people.

Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

Willy Mason I love his songwriting, Bjork as love what she does also love to do something with Kano these collaborations are deffo on my bucket list.

What’s your favorite track at the moment?

Loving Okra by Tyler the Creator at the moment.

What do you do when your not making music?

Kicking it with the wife and my daughter, also when I’m not making music I like to relax by listening to a whole host of genres, I’m a long-suffering Arsenal Fan too so I have to deal with on match days.

In a few words sum up your thoughts about Urban Vault and what we’re trying to do?

Giving original artists a platform to show what they are all about.

Thank you for your time and may you carry on making dope, fresh music…
