Today New Jersey-based recording artist Titus has released his brand new 404 NOT FOUND EP

On ‘404 Not Found’, Titus sings and raps over ominous soundscapes, reflecting the dark place he found himself in when making the project. He sunk deeper into that dark place when his hard drive crashed and he lost nearly every recording session over the past year. After salvaging the most important tracks from cloud storage, ‘404 Not Found’ came to life. The EP features production by long-time collaborator Myles Williams (Beyonce, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross), as well as Mister Neek (Wale, Fabolous, Mac Miller, GoldLink,) BKorn, Ricky Remedy and more.

“I wrote this EP last year when I was going through a bit of a low point,” says Titus, on his new EP. “I moved into a house where I built a studio, and I took the summer off to record in an isolated environment. Songs like ‘Free my mind,’ sort of describe the depression I was dealing with at the time. That depression worsened when the hard drive, where countless unreleased sessions were stored on, crashed. I felt that people (and other artists, specifically) could relate to that type of loss. Luckily, I had the best songs backed up on cloud storage and now I’m releasing them to the world as ‘404.Not.Found”.

Last week, Titus released the video for ‘FAZE‘ as an exclusive premiere with HotNewHipHop. Produced by Mister Neek (Wale, Fabolous, Mac Miller, GoldLink,) the Goldbolt Visuals-direct video for the EP’s energetic single provides a visually-stunning frantic accompaniment to the track. It’s complex and enigmatic, taking you out of your own world and into Titus’.

Titus is a genre-blending artist out of New Jersey who fuses elements of rap and dance into an infectious, melodic soundscape. Growing up mixed race (African-American/Caucasian), splitting his time between two different cultures has manifested itself in his sound. The versatility in his music – both rapping and singing – is undeniable.

After gaining notoriety in the dance space in 2016 with a slew of successful collaborations with the likes of Matisse & Sadko, Convex and Memba, TITUS returned in 2017 giving listeners only a small taste of what they are going to hear in 2018. With the release of ‘Top Down’ featuring Bigg Dogg, ‘FAZE’ (125K Spotify streams,) ‘Side Room Séance’ (63K Spotify streams,) ‘After Hours’, which garnered nearly 34K Spotify streams in just a few weeks, and now, new EP ‘404 Not Found’, Titus is poised for a big year.
