‘The High 5’ represents the five boroughs of New York City, the five fingers in a fist, five songs, five different emcee’s, five beats from one producer. The EP is boom bap at it’s funkiest, featuring five different wordsmiths who are some of the best at what they do.

This serves as the follow up to Ras Beats’ 2016 album ‘Control Your Own‘ that received much critical acclaim and worldwide airplay and co-signs by some of Hip Hop’s best DJ’s (DJ Premier, DJ Eclipse, Beatminerz, House Shoes & more). His sound is deeply rooted in classic NYC Hip Hop, and at the same time new and distinctly his own.
