Wolverhampton, UK based producer JUTTLA is back with his latest four-track, SWORDS OF DEATH EP via Eastern Pressure Recordings

Hot on the heels of his last release ‘Substance‘, UK producer & DJ, JUTTLA drops a brand new four-track EP. This is something for the electronica connoisseur, a release that breaks musical boundaries and holds no limits. This EP has it all, tracks that work on the dance-floor, on the radio, in the car, on your phone or at home. With massive cross-over potential, this EP is already a favourite with a number of select DJ’s.

JUTTLA has played live at Glastonbury Festival and at venues/festivals all over the UK, as well as rocking dance-floors in Africa, Holland, Belgium, Poland, France, Italy & Sicily. He has also had support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network and done official remixes for Marshall Jefferson, Asian Dub Foundation, Foreign Beggars, Y2K Records, Grand Ruckus & Genesis Elijah, Wayward Soul and many more.

‘Swords Of Death’ takes cinematic dub-step to a next level, chopping up sword sounds as part of a superb drum groove. Its oriental Kung-Fu vibe is moved along with old skool jungle snare rolls and a mystical flute line.

‘Creepers’ is the deepest of the four cuts on this EP but its cinematic approach makes it one of the most interesting. Deep atmospherics and ghostly female vocals are twisted & fused with creeping pads.

‘Journey’ is exactly what it says on the tin! A rolling groove that intricately chops up a vocal to great to effect while various bass and atmospherics create something that zones you out to its unique vibration.

‘Gangsters’ takes things down a peg with a building intro that creates an essence of massive suspense from a futuristic string line. A growling bass-line takes the track up a notch with a swirling deep groove that is full of attitude.
