Bay Area-based emcee J.Lately drops his new track CLEAN, featuring The Grouch, produced by Space Cadet

J.Lately delivers his new single, “Clean”, featuring Living Legends heavyweight The Grouch. The song is produced by Space Cadet, who produced half of Lately’s last album, ‘Be Fucking Happy‘. This track finds J.Lately and The Grouch searching for the silver lining in the clouds, as they reflect over the laid back melodic beat.

“We often look at times of struggle and pain as negative experiences, overlooking the opportunity it provides us for growth and renewal”, says Lately. “This song is about accepting the presence of these more difficult times in our lives, and using them to bring us strength and positivity as we move forward”.

After long stints on tour last year throughout the United States and Canada with fellow Bay Area emcee’s Andre Nickatina and Locksmith, J.Lately is readying the release of his next solo album set to drop this year.
