South East London emcee/producer Eight9FLY recently dropped his latest track/visual MY LOVER, via Link Up TV

After a small hiatus which he spent crafting in the studio, Eight9Fly is finally back with a brand new song, alongside an incredible visual. The rapper/singer from South London has been making waves with his tracks ‘Best Life’, ‘Deep’d It’ and ‘Jokes Over’ last year, which gained him enormous support from Spotify, BBC 1xtra and many more industry tastemakers.

His new release, titled ‘My Lover’ shows a different side to his versatile artistry, Known for his cold bars and compelling rap flow, Eight9Fly now proves to us that he is able to do a lot more than that, smooth melodies, R&B-infused vocals and an ode to love are what ‘My Lover’ is all about.

The music video, directed by Kristine Danne, was shot all the way in Dubai and illustrates a beautiful love story. It shows him living it up with the special girl on his side, who is no other than his actual girlfriend. What a lovable Valentine’s surprise! ‘My Lover’ is out now via Link Up TV and is the first release of a series of songs.
