Finland based, American born recording artist Pete Santos drops his new album FISHERMAN, produced by B.Cimili

In the world of seven billion fishermen, artist Pete Santos is after a good catch with his new album.

“People fish for all types things in life: success, love, adventure, maturity, and wisdom. I wanted the title to represent the quest that everyone is on”,

shares Pete Santos, an American emcee, singer, and songwriter whose music is a blend of Hip Hop, pop, R&B, and soul music. Santos has come out with two albums and an EP to his credit: ‘Riding to the Tune of Time’, ‘Our Lives Begin’ and ‘Paint the Picture’, currently available on all of the digital streaming platforms.

“To be honest there are just so many topics I want to discuss on a public platform. Music gives me the opportunity to speak up and out.” Santos continues. “Growing up on the move, living in too many places almost has broadened my perspective on the world and it translates into my music. I’m all about influencing people and spreading positivity within my lyrics. Each song on this album touches on a different aspect of life, such as success, love, social media, or even a specific topic like the Flint water crisis”, he finishes.

Since last September, Santos has released four singles off of the ‘Fisherman’ album, ‘Blood In the Streets‘, ‘Off On’, ‘Fisherman’, and ‘Heroes’. Santos’ music has attracted over 50.000 listeners on Spotify in just the past two months, largely due, he feels, to the way the songs resonate.

For this project, Santos again teamed with Berat ‘B.Cimili’ Cimili, this time to produce the whole thing; a decision he feels very good about. Santos believes Fisherman is his best body of work and he eagerly awaits his fans’ feedback.

“Growth on every release is my goal and I feel I achieved that and more with this project. The production and my songwriting have reached a new level and I sang more on this album. All that meshed in so well in my opinion”.
