East London based recording artist Baseman drops his latest track/visual SKITTLES, produced by Louis Dutch, via GRM Daily

‘Skittles’ is the eagerly awaited slick new single by BBC 1Xtra, KISS/ CAPITAL XTRA/ GRM Daily rapper Baseman. The chilled, uptempo track, is produced by the multi-talented Louis Dutch and gonna bring fresh air to the UK rap scene.

Baseman says, “I invited Louis Dutch my producer to the session to hear some beats. At first, he skipped the beat and I told him to go back to it. I felt a vibe from the beat that also matched the vibe in the room. We were smoking skittles strains and sipping lean and I based the topic of the song around our activities that take place in the studio”.

The independent East London rapper started showcasing his talents back in 2013, collaborating with J Hus, Chip, Krept & Konan, DJ P Montana and building a loyal fanbase at the same time. The single ‘Bad Habits’ has taken the underground scene by storm with more than 2,5 million views on YouTube. The announcement of his recent Mixtape Madness freestyle went viral on his personal account on Instagram with more than 44K views in 15 hours. He has been supported through the years by DJ Semtex, DJ Target, DJ Kenny Allstar, Trevor Nelson, Tim Westwood and cutting-edge brands including Heineken, Red Bull, O2 Academy, Hennessey, G-Shock to name a few.

Baseman will be releasing a mixtape called ‘1st Base’ this June and is currently working on some promo gigs details of which will be announced on his social media over the next few months.
