Paris, France based emcee/producer Igor recently dropped his latest self-produced track IMPECCABLE

‘Impeccable‘ tackles the internal struggle of crucifying one’s old self, in order to make room for the new, improved, Impeccable self. Chronologically speaking, the first verse marks the death of the old self. The second verse explains the process of being reborn, and the third and final verse shows an improved, more audacious, practically invincible version of the artist, ready to take on anything.

The ambiance of the song makes it perfect for any context: at home, in clubs, or in stadiums. With Igor being no stranger to symbolical dates in history, the cover art for Impeccable is a clear allusion to Nas’ ‘Illmatic’ cover, which was released on April 19th as well, 25 years ago. What better way of reasserting your greatness, than to pay homage to one of the all-time greatest albums of the genre?

Production wise, the instrumental tracks revolve around the first chords of Bach’s second Partita for violin, the Chaconne. While this piece is considered to have been written in loving memory of Bach’s first wife, who passed away at age 36, it is always widely revered as,

Not only is he entirely independent artistically speaking, but he’s also the one who manages his music from a promotional standpoint. He’s currently distributed under Steve Stoute’s UnitedMasters and owns all the rights to his music. He also plans to build a record label of his own in the near future.
