K.I.N.E.T.I.K. – The Kinesis Thesis (Album/Audio/iTunes/Spotify)

Ten years ago, London, UK based emcee K.I.N.E.T.I.K. released his second album THE KINESIS THESIS, out now via Ten Pounds Of Gold

Life was different for the kid, though. He was a mere two years into his professional recording career, navigating the awkward changes of young adulthood and while trying to ‘figure life out’ at the same time. However, hindsight is 20/20 and time has been kind to this body of work, which still has a remarkable quality in spite of all the changes in music, society and our world at large.

This cult favourite is a landmark moment in the journey of the London based emcee. The masterful production from JJ Malone, Jon Phonics and Vintage allowed him to refine further the thoughtful, layered and self-aware perspectives showcased on his debut effort. It also marked the beginning of his relationship with Chemo, who has been his go-to recording engineer ever since. Most importantly, the sophomore jinx proved to be a non-factor as K.I.N.E.T.I.K. took every compliment and critique from his first album into his creative stride.

Listeners can expect a savvy balance of measured storytelling in tracks like ‘Leave It All Behind‘ and ‘Memory Lane‘ which are perfectly juxtaposed with the rambunctious chest-pounding defiance of eternal bangers like ‘It Ain’t Hard To See‘ and ‘Let’s Go’.
