Neaks – 14 (Music Video)

Los Angeles-based alternative Hip Hop recording artist Neaks recently released his latest track/visual 14

LA-based rapper, singer, dancer and fashion entrepreneur of Tastemaker Collective, Neaks Is about to give us a taste of his upcoming album ‘Lost In The hype’. One of the more phenomenal songs on the said album is entitled ‘14.’

Diving deep, Neaks uses his words to paint a picture of the inspiration, ambition, and sacrifice that transformed him from a humble teen into a major player in LA’s alternative Hip Hop scene.

“Sick of being broke gotta go with the homies, come up with the plan that’ll land you a couple G’s, take that put it back in, plant a couple of seeds…”, one verse goes.

He has also raised the bar by collaborating with writer-director Ryan Lopez on a visually jar dropping music video.

A high-energy mind-bending experience, the song’s infectious hook guides you through a fever dream maze of visuals.

“No one can play me, girl I came too far. You’ll never save me I’m already gone, way to addictive, girl I want it all…”, Neaks sings.

Cold colorless symmetry contrasted against the vibrant abstract chaos of Los Angeles creates a truly unique music video that reminds us why we love them. Both the song and the video underline Neaks’ truly irreverent style and makes clear where he thinks the future of Hip Hop is headed.
