Los Angeles based producer Kyle Walker kicks back on his Dim Mak, New Noise debut with the track MOVEMENT
Kyle Walker makes a promising statement on his New Noise debut ‘Movement’. The inescapable groove is a three-minute study in cool, where deep low-end vocals glide fluidly over a fervent house beat.
Newcomer Kyle Walker is quickly becoming one to watch in the dance music world. Since winning Insomniac’s Discovery Project in 2016 and earning an early co-sign from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, the California native has cranked out numerous attention-grabbing releases, rooted in deep, melodic house sounds.
His bold fusion of styles and influences have since earned him releases on Bite This!, Artist Intelligence Agency and Insomniac’s In/Rotation imprint. Most recently, Kyle released his ‘Cruel Intentions’ EP in September and supported it with performances at Nocturnal Wonderland and North Coast Music Festival. The talented young producer has also performed twice at EDC Las Vegas, with his eyes set towards headlining festivals as his career progresses.
New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting-edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles. New Noise’s current incarnation is a copyright-free model that allows the budding community of Twitch gamer’s and amateur YouTube content creators to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams sans purchase or fees, all in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.
