North London based emcee Capo Lee drops the visual to the track WAY TOO LONG, produced by Lewi B, taken off his forthcoming album HEART OF A CHAMP

A prized emcee from the UK Grime scene, Capo Lee has long since been the poster boy for,

Matched with his visionary thinking that has seen him work with Chip, Jammer, P Money, D Double E, Prez T, and AJ Tracey, he has also been instrumental in bringing revolutionary ideas to life. Creating his ‘Why Not 3’ mixtape, recorded in one studio sitting within 10 hours, featuring the cream of grimes producers and artists, Capo Lee is as brave as he is bold and with the forthcoming release of his project ‘Heart Of A Champ’, he tests his boundaries more than they’ve ever been tested before.

Releasing ‘Way Too Long’ as the first bite of the tape, the Lewi B production pays homage to the very fabric of grime that Capo Lee is built from. Choral synths create the dark, raw ambiance whilst the skippy beat laden with a collection of drums, hi-hats, and snappy clicks opens the door for Capo Lee to bring unreserved energy and flow. Queue the scattergun delivery, his maverick, on-but-off-beat flow and lyrical bars that build into the head-bopping hook and we’re left in no doubt that shit is about to get very real on this brand-new collection of music.

A 10-track project, ‘Heart of A Champ’ is Capo Lee’s most explorative work to date and is available now for pre-order ahead of its release on 22nd November.
