MATT DOE joins Fools of Wisdom on a powerful display of Canadian dubstep via their thrashing Dim Mak, New Noise debut ANUBIS
Hailing from Montreal, MATT DOE and duo Fools of Wisdom are carrying the torch for Quebec-based bass-heavy sounds. ‘ANUBIS’ marks their latest collaboration, following recent joint efforts ‘BRING EM OUT‘ and the MagMag assisted ‘Now I Know’. Earlier this year, MATT DOE landed one of his biggest hits to date with an official remix to Tisoki & Watgood’s ‘Relate’ on Dim Mak. Receiving nearly half a million on-demand streams, the remix landed in some of Spotify’s largest bass music playlists, including Hype, Dubstep Don and Bass Arcade. Additionally, the remix earned support from Zomboy, BORGEOUS, and Godlands.
New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting-edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles. New Noise’s current incarnation is a copyright-free model that allows the budding community of Twitch gamer’s and amateur YouTube content creators to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams sans purchase or fees, all in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.
