Brighton, UK based emcee Hatter recently dropped the visual to his track LIGHTBULB, featuring Mrisi & Olivia Louise, produced by Saffa Ghorishi
Hatter recently released the visual for ‘Lightbulb’, the latest single from the Brighton artist Hatter, with producer Saffa Ghorishi, from their forthcoming project ‘Beggars In The Palace’.
Hatter and Saffa are accompanied on the track by a couple of other talented souls, including their childhood friend and fellow Brighton emcee, Mrisi, and Chester/London-based singer-songwriter, Olivia Louise, who previously collaborated with Saffa on the ‘Juicy Fruit’ EP.
The single has already received support from British GQ and the video is set to offer a reflective yet peculiar visual accompaniment to the song. An array of lights with experimental trickery follows the opening scene of a nostalgic car crash, which alludes to the levels of introspection and confusion that follow internal conflicts or more tragic life events.
Hatter, Mrisi and Olivia Louise all feature in the video, providing thought-provoking lyrics and a delicately executed hook through a dreamy yet distorted lens. Both the song and the visuals will have you entranced.
The video was premiered by The Word Is Bond and its release is in anticipation of a series of tracks about to be dropped by Hatter ahead of ‘Beggars In The Palace’ (the track playing in the car during the first scene is a little teaser for an upcoming release).
