Pax Impera & Felmax bring the house down on their Dim Mak, New Noise single NECK DROP

Pax Impera & Felmax generate a potent blend of industrial dubstep sounds on their blistering New Noise collaboration ‘Neck Drop’.

At just 21 years old, Pax Impera first broke onto the scene in late 2018 with his massive bootleg remix of Flume’s classic ‘Insane’. Followed up by a slew of originals last year, including ‘Paranoia’ released through Deadbeats, Pax Impera honed his distinctive brand of mid-tempo free-form bass music and developed a cult following. He’s gone on to perform at MTV’s Snow Globe Music Festival, Ubbi Dubbi Fest and Red Rocks, and 2020 is looking to be another fruitful year for the rising producer.

Daniel Mora, known professionally as Felmax, is a Venezuelan electronic dance music producer and DJ that now resides in Las Vegas, NV. Felmax spent his early childhood years in Maracaibo, Venezuela where he grew up before fleeing the country to find asylum in the United States. In 2016, Felmax’s career kicked off following a series of releases including ‘Zebras in America’ with Graves, Max Styler collaboration ‘Skyline’ on Dim Mak, and ‘Grail’ alongside TYNVN on New Noise. Since then, he’s released records on Spinnin’ and Kannibalen Records and has dropped official remixes for bands such as Papa Roach and Five Finger Death Punch.

New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting-edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles. New Noise’s current incarnation is a copyright-free model that allows the budding community of Twitch gamer’s and amateur YouTube content creators to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams sans purchase or fees, all in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.
