Hackney, London based emcee/producer Franklyn drops the highly anticipated visual for the track A13, taken off his 2019 ARCHIVES EP

Already picking up underground heat from the likes of Clash Magazine, Trench Magazine, and RWD for his work on and off the mic, UK rapper and producer Franklyn drops the highly anticipated visuals to his track ‘A13’.

Born and bred in Hackney, east London, the precocious rapper’s lived inner-city experiences influence all facets of his work. With recently released EP ‘Archives‘ acting as the re-introduction to the kind of artistry that has already seen him perform alongside the likes of George the Poet and Akala, Franklyn feels similarly poised for cult greatness.

Interpolating the Gospel track ‘Melodies from Heaven’ onto a Hip Hop canvas, Franklyn once again delivers a stream of lyrical consciousness as deep as it is vivid. Intelligently commenting on London’s youth violence epidemic, he expresses his thoughts, positioning himself as the ‘ghetto Wilfred Owen’, the block’s Dickens’ while driving through London’s city streets and quiet rural roads.
