Istanbul, Turkey-based producer Baker Aaron & Manhattan, New York City-based emcee Manny Houston team up on their new four-track MILES FROM HOME EP

‘Miles From Home’ is a joint project between producer Baker Aaron and Rapper Manny Houston. After connecting on Voisey at the height of the covid-19 pandemic, though they were on opposite ends of the world, they immediately began working on multiple projects together. ‘Miles From Home‘ is the first of several collaborations being released in 2021.

This EP is a testament to Baker and Manny’s creative process as they overcame the challenges of being artists in a global pandemic, having never met, and working in different time zones. While the musical content depicts a young man struggling to adjust to his personal new normal, Manny, having just moved from SC to New York to pursue acting, right before the pandemic hit.

With four tracks, this project gives listeners an intimate look into Manny’s stream of consciousness, while Baker skillfully provides an auditory guide through a soulful and organic soundscape.

In the meantime, Baker recently released a collab with English rapper, Enny and another remix with South London’s Joe Hertz. While Manny just finished a recent deal with Voisey and Snapchat for the release of his song, ‘Coupe’ under the group Picassionte.
