London, UK born, Antwerp, Belgium based emcee/singer Darrell Cole drops the visual for his latest track CELEBRATION, produced by Samuel Kareem

Celebration’ arrives perfectly in line with the world beginning to show signs of post-pandemic normality, giving us plenty of reasons to toast to a celebration. Written on his birthday in 2019, this summer jam is accompanied by opulent visuals which paint a picture of the perfect day with an epic feast, party, friends, family, and romance. Becoming a strong contender for this generation’s birthday song, Cole was ready to drop it last year but the world took an expected turn, it now finally surfaces with poetic timing.

Impossible to pin him to one particular place, born in London to Sierra Leonean parents, he lives up to his

“International Cole”,

nickname having resided in various places most notably, Belgium, London & The States. Following a trip to Harlem early on in his career and a chance meeting with one of his icons, Styles P, an unexpected collaboration materialised and changed his life forever. With his roots heavily grounded in Hip Hip, his sound has become fluid and a fusion of all the genres and cultures he grew up with from Afro, Jazz, Neo-Soul, Trap, Funky House, and beyond. His influences are a combination of both the UK and US, citing the likes of Styles P, Nas, Jay-Z, and Biggie as some of his biggest inspirations. With family and friends in the UK, he was always in touch with the UK scene and was drawn in by the development and rise of artists such as Kano and Giggs.

Outside of music, Cole is a thriving entrepreneur continuously building his career in all avenues and is the proud owner of a shop in Belgium that showcases art, fashion, music, and more. He is a strong believer in the hustle and continues to inspire others through his hard-working approach to life with the ability to work hard and play harder. Now residing in London, he was drawn back to his birthplace having watched the UK scene evolve into the incredible position it’s in today naming artists such as Mahalia, Bree Runway, and Jvck James as some of its biggest pulls.

Cole’s intention with this song is to lift spirits around the world and suggests that whatever the occasion is we no longer need an excuse to just raise a glass and celebrate life. He sits comfortably in his own lane within the modern musical landscape and now plans to give back to his motherland, Sierra Leone, and ancestors in his upcoming project. More music is coming very soon.
