East London-based emcee Guvna B drops his latest visual to the track SAY LESS, featuring Still Shadey & Tidez, taken off Guv’s recent EVERYWHERE + NOWHERE [BLACK EDITION DELUXE] album

Guvna B drops the visual for his new single ‘Say Less’ taken from his ‘everywhere + nowhere’ [Black Edition Deluxe]. Featuring Croydon rapper Still Shadey and up and comer Tidez, ‘Say Less’ follows in the same footsteps as ‘Very Original’ with its important message and purposeful lyrics. On production, duties is, friend and collaborator Jimmy James and on visuals, Guv enlisted MOBO award-winning director Kevin Hudson (Skepta, CHIP, Ivorian Doll), who both capture the magic created in the studio.

It’s impossible to talk about Guv without mentioning both his work ethic, eight albums, two books, and various television appearances, and the underlying positive messages within his music. Through his impeccable penmanship, the critically acclaimed rapper has become synonymous with improving the narrative for the younger generation stating,

“Young people ain’t just evil, circumstances ain’t letting them thrive” as well as “Chopping up stereotypes I’ve gotta bury those lies”.

Over the years he has continued to break down and contest stereotypes and in doing so has carved his own lane where he feels he can just be himself.

‘everywhere + nowhere‘ is an album that embodies every layer of Guvna B’s complex artistry and it only felt right to follow it up in 2021, bringing a lockdown album very much into the present. The album is full of unapologetic honesty, emotion, and self-reflection and Guv offers insight into poignant topics including; his turbulent journey, grief, black excellence, masculinity, and youth violence.
