Detroit, Michigan-based emcee Bronze Nazareth & Long Island, New York-based producer Roc Marciano drop their brand new album EKPHRASIS, accompanied by the visual to the track CRAZY HORSE
Ekphrasis (noun) ek·phra·sis\ˈek-frə-səs – “A literary description of or commentary on a visual work of art”,
which is exactly what the new album ‘Ekphrasis‘ from Detroit, Michigan emcee and long-time Wu-Tang collaborator Bronze Nazareth and New York’s Roc Marciano is.
A work of art that you can visually see through Bronze’s style of rhyming. The two have collaborated in the past, but this is their first full-length piece of work together. Bronze Nazareth’s style of emceeing and Roc Marciano’s production blend well with each other throughout the entire project. With assists coming from Skyzoo, Boldy James, Termanology, Fashawn, Killah Priest, Roc Marciano, Brizz Rawsteen, and Lord Jessiah.
In the new visual ‘Crazy Horse’, Roc Marciano’s piano-driven beats are always at the top of the mountain. Here he gifts Bronze Nazareth with a slow brooding piano chop, perfect for Nazareth’s aggressively assertive rhymes. Whilst weaving true stories into the jazz-infused production, Bronzeman also gives a vivid snapshot of his world.
Bronze is coming off a tremendous year having done projects with Leaf Dog of The Four Owls and Recognize Ali.
