Orlando, Florida based emcee Soulrac recently dropped the visual to his track HIS-TORY, produced by Toronto based producer BigBob, featuring cuts by Huntington Beach based LDontheCut

Inlighten Music Group is glad to announce the release of Soulrac’s newest visual for his track ‘His-Story’, which was written from the perspective of Soulrac, speaking to his son on his deathbed, about the trappings and pitfalls of life.

It chronicles his life, with an emphasis on the choices he and his family members made that have created generational curses or challenges. Ideally, he wants to break the cycle for his son, by allowing him to walk in his shoes to prevent him from repeating the cycle of pain. Overall, he encourages fathers to leave a legacy and take preventive measures for their sons to walk in a different light, in order to fulfill their purpose.

Soulrac is an artist that’s reminiscent of the Golden Era of Hip Hop and the Black Power movement because he verbalizes the dilemmas we face as a society. Just like the music from Blaxploitation films, his music serenades his listeners with soulful and thought-provoking lyrics and music.
