West London-based Drill Godfather NitoNB drops his new highly anticipated ten-track album FASHIONABLY LATE

UK Drill trailblazer NitoNB releases his brand new project ‘Fashionably Late’ his rawest material yet. The ten-track collection, which includes new singles ‘Took My Time’ and ‘Lean Wid It’, completes an exciting year for the West London rapper who now embarks on his long-awaited return to music after 4-years away. He fearlessly re-enters the scene with a whole new perspective and with so much to say, whilst also wishing farewell to the mask that kept him safe in his anonymity.

The project includes the new single ‘Took My Time’ an unfiltered, energy-charged UK Drill cut, setting the record straight on where he’s been and why he finally decided to come back to the booth. Alongside ‘Lean Wid It’ a hard-hitting track accompanied by a satirical music video featuring ballerinas dancing to Drill, showcasing Nito’s humorous personality and reminding us why he earnt his stripes amongst his dedicated cult following.

Truly one of the godfathers of UK Drill as we know it, NitoNB sets himself apart from other rappers of his era with his aggressive and direct delivery. Fiercely committed to honoring only authentic illustrations of the street life that birthed him, Nito is revered for his raw insights which he continuously dresses in ever-evolving editions of sonic grit and refreshing lyrical technicality. Anchored by a dark yet lively production, ‘Fashionably Late’ finds the rapper reeling off bars like it’s nothing, balancing his natural aggression with straight-talking, factual bars which describe the trials and tribulations of a major UK Drill artist going through a transition in his career, ready to set the scene alight all over again.

The NB in his name is representative of Northolt, a town in West London with a reputation for poverty, crime, and violence. First coming on the scene in 2017 with ‘Drilling’ featuring MadMax, the breakout single quickly amassed millions of views and immediately made NitoNB a contender for one of the most exciting talents of the genre. Continuing his prodigious rise, Nito then went on to drop a slew of impressive singles and freestyles, with standouts including ‘Rise & Tan’ and now Tik-Tok famous ‘Lightwork Freestyle’ going on to receive a combined 25 million views between them.

NitoNB’s life in the streets and dealings with the judiciary system caused lengthy disappearances, leading him to neglect an eagerly devoted fanbase. Nevertheless, he now returns with his debut project which will more than explain his time away, as well as showcase his natural talent on the mic and impressive evolution as an artist.
