Yorkshire-born, Poland-based emcee/producer DaRealMrLee recently released his latest project titled BRAIN FOG EP PART ONE

Since last year’s drop of DaRealMrLee’s debut EP ‘Emcee‘, the Yorkshire-born emcee/producer has been hard at work in the LAB. First producing two joint EPs ‘Signalz’/’Mind sweeper’ with the talented Domameno, the spearhead of the SHGE movement out of Las Vegas USA, both EPs were solely on his beats and intertwined with his rhymes combined with Domameno, setting the tone for a dark canvass splattered with dystopian Trip Hop.

MrLee’s latest release, ‘Brain Fog’ part one Is the first half of a bigger solo project, right from the opening intro you can sense the influence of the old school, setting the tone for a trip into the mindscape through the vessel of sound.

As the opening track blasts off into space, you’re brought back down to earth with a bang and spinning into the past through the Haunting ‘Groans of the past’ featuring long-time collaborators Bad Ape and Ultra_eko, the latter Who seems to appear again, later in the EP in an interesting cameo.

Throughout part one MrLee is weaving and peppering rhyme schemes through the soundscape he’s created, Along with the skits and the way the project moves along blends together, you get a feel of the 90s Hip Hop album influences but seasoned with some more modern UK flows and basslines.

With several exciting new projects in different stages of completion for 2023 and Part 2 of ‘Brain Fog’ slated for winter next year, expect to be hearing more from the self-proclaimed collector of facial expressions.
