Jehst aka Billy Brimstone is back with his latest track/visual titled LONELY WORLD, featuring CW Jones & SINDYSMAN

Tuning out the street noise of classic 90s, Timberland-booted NYC, Jehst embraces his godfatherly role in UK Hip Hop on ‘Lonely World‘.

The drizzly, heads-down mood embodied by CW Jones crooning from street corner shadows on the hook, Jehst, wise and weary at once, looks around as,

“An old man with many stories to tell…we sell our dreams but we ain’t ready to rebel”.

The Channel 4-featured SINDYSMAN throws in his agitated, two penneth worth on top of Sam Zircon’s production, smoothed out but unable to resist feeling on edge and the evocative video by Kill Money images a dystopian future where any glimmer of life – whether old or new – provides the only hope for our Hazmat suited protagonist.

‘Lonely World’ follows the BBC Radio 6 Music playlisted ‘One Horse Town‘ featuring Confucius MC and Eva Lazarus, both consuming the mood of Jehst’s sixth album ‘Mork Calling Orson’. Out Friday 3rd February on YNR Productions, it’s the latest chapter in the life of Billy Brimstone, UK Hip Hop’s favorite son staying relevant as ever since his 90s introduction.

Jehst goes on tour across the UK this February, performing in London, Leeds, Preston, Bristol, Stroud, and Manchester.
