Vietnam born, Los Angeles based Horrorcore artist Ten-Headed Skeleton boldly returns with his latest album THE WITCH THAT WAS GUILTY, BUT SILENTLY WATCHED YOUR DAUGHTERS BURN

The time comes once again for Alt Horrorcore artist Ten-Headed Skeleton to release his latest album ‘The Witch that was Guilty, But Silently Watched Your Daughters Burn‘. Edgy, abstract, and not for the faint of heart, this project uses a perfect mix of eerie sounds and lyricism to keep you on the edge of your seat. The eleven tracks were brought together last summer whilst he was house-sitting for his best friend,

“I have really thin walls at home, so I can’t record or finish anything…I took the opportunity to record at least ten songs because I had lyrics and beats just collecting dust”.

What came about was a truly standout project, serving up a whole underworld of sounds. The opening track ‘Show Me The Haunted House’, with retro bit-crusher effects and video game distortion sets the tone for the rest of the album. Tracks like ‘Until the Flesh Came Off’ then play with gory interview tapes and dichotomies between upbeat dance/pop rhythms and horror-tinged sounds; whilst others feature incredibly outlandish and morbid lyrics. Standout tracks 6 and 7 are highlights in the album for their distinctive and darkly catchy hooks like ‘Replace your teeth with five-inch knives’ and ‘All you need is love All you need is love, All you need is a push off a cliff‘. Ten-Headed Skeleton also makes a commentary on many themes such as mortality, the takeover of AI, and even the relationship between the Vietnamese and Americans since the war, opening up to his listeners about his personal stance on things. All in all, ‘The Witch that was Guilty, But Silently Watched Your Daughters Burn’ is a spirited, intense listen that will leave you with a new perspective. Ten Headed Skeleton is a poetic writer revealing bundles of skill with this new project, if you’re looking for a bold, fresh, and edgy listen – this is the perfect album for you.

“He raps, but you wouldn’t call him a rapper — not in the most shallow sense of the term. A one-man vanguard, Nhat’s (Ten Headed Skeleton) music pushes the sonic and thematic boundaries of hip-hop so far, blurring the lines, if any are left, between the personal and the political, taking Hip Hop with him on a wild ride through the abyss” – TinyMixtapes

Four decades ago there was a war in Vietnam. Hundreds of villages were bombed, leaving innocent people without homes, jobs, or food for themselves, let alone their children. Thousands of these children, many of whom were born as the result of rape by or prostitution to soldiers from the invading army, were taken in by families in other countries. LA artist, writer, and producer Ten-Headed Skeleton is one of them. Since he was found abandoned in a basket and taken in by an American couple, he has been on a journey to make his own mark in the music industry. He’s been signed to now-defunct punk label ‘How to be a Microwave’, founded his own music space called ‘Murder Scene’, and collaborated with fellow artists including Curse Ov Dialect. His journey, leading him to release over 20-full length albums since his 2009 debut, now continues with this brand-new project ‘The Witch that was Guilty, But Silently Watched Your Daughters Burn’. With gigs lined up at LA’s Handbag Factory and his own horror comedy show to come later this year, listeners can expect a whole load of new things from the artist. It’s clear that Ten-Headed Skeleton is a creative force to be reckoned with, and you don’t miss your chance to jump on board!
