Brent, London UK, based Trapwave recording artist M Huncho drops his highly anticipated 19-track mixtape MY NEIGHBOURS DON’T KNOW, accompanied by the visual to the track WHERE YOU BEEN?

The godfather of UK Trapwave, M Huncho, drops his highly anticipated 19-track mixtape ‘My Neighbours Don’t Know’. Huncho enlists an all-star cast with features from Nines, D Block Europe, Nafe Smallz, K-Trap, Slim, Steve Drive and Peezy, and A-List production from Quincy, Mike Vegas, Chucks, Fumes, Chapo, Aaron or Rage, Heizenberg Ken and RYU. Over the next week, Huncho is visiting locations across the UK to celebrate the tape, including Bristol, Nottingham and Liverpool and will be performing at London’s Outernet next month on 17th Oct. Huncho has always been celebrated for his music and creative brand, but this time, he exceeds himself by getting cult artist and friend Slawn to write the artwork name and the full tracklist for the project. The image on the front reflects the new chapter in Huncho’s career as he is seen in his old neighbourhood with his family, having recently become a dad whilst all remaining anonymous. Slawn also lent bespoke artwork, which is present in the photograph on the tracklist’s back sleeve which has the time his daughter was born in the right-hand corner.

My Neighbours Don’t Know’ embodies M Huncho’s ethos of ‘Mind Your Business’, covering themes of identity, privacy, family life, and the game. The stellar production throughout the 19 tracks is split between Trap, Wavy, Rap and more. The North West London visionary opens the tape with Quincy’s eerie production and sets the tone on ‘Where You Been’, with his signature storytelling that remains at the forefront of the project. He discusses being absent from his family and the precious time he spends away from them in the studio or touring. To some, the music game is seen as a sin, and he states he’s ‘trying to rectify his sins‘. Kicking off the heavyweight collection of features is ‘G.A.B.O.S’ (Game Ain’t Based On Sympathy) featuring D Block Europe, touching on how, throughout his career, he feels underappreciated and undervalued, a topic he digs deeper into on ‘Misunderstood’ featuring iconic North London rapper Nines and on ‘Selfish Selfless’. Adding to their long list of previous collaborations, Nafe Smallz brings his signature braggadocious energy on ‘Stop Calling’, and K-Trap on ‘One Of One’, which sees two titans spit facts on being unmatched originals within the UK scene. Detroit legend Peezy joins Huncho on ‘The Game is The Game’, where the pair spotlight the anxiety street life brings, with Huncho tapping into similar tensions on ‘Look Over Your Shoulder’ ft rising rapper Steve Drive and ‘Addiction’. On ‘Muse’, he compares the trap game to the rap game and describes how he uses his hustle mindset from the streets and puts that into driving his career forward. A mood shift comes with the Jersey-drill single ‘How You Feel’ which sees Huncho reflecting on how he is feeling more motivated than ever now his daughter is around stating “independent now, can’t slow down”. Continuing down this path, a reflective and personal moment shines through on ‘MYB’ (Mind Your Business) and ‘Property’, where we hear Huncho open up about his mental health, privacy and the struggles of anonymity. Closing with a four-minute freestyle, ‘Hate To Say’ allows Huncho to ponder the highs and lows he’s been through as he allows his thoughts to flow freely on the page.

Throughout his career, Huncho has often been misunderstood, as people judge him based solely on appearances. However, the underlying philosophy of his anonymity runs deeper than what meets the eye. He aims to eradicate prejudice and build a universal connection through his music, regardless of background or beliefs. An enigmatic figure hailing from North West London, Huncho has transcended beyond industry norms, staying away from the crowd and proving that hard work yields rewards. Huncho has consistently delivered standout projects, captivating freestyles, and compelling interviews throughout his career. With an impressive discography spanning six projects and billions
of streams, Huncho’s ‘My Neighbours Don’t know’ project is another example of his timeless greatness.
