New York-based emcee Marcus Stokes drops the visual to his new debut solo track NO CONTEXT UMAR, produced by N. Chase

Marcus Stokes has established himself as a prolific lyricist and songwriter as a part of the duo 21 Grams. Now the Greenburgh, New York native is branching out to further establish his name atop the Hip Hop hierarchy.

‘NO CONTEXT UMAR’ is the debut solo single from Marcus Stokes. The visual is directed by Steven Muela, it depicts a sprawling and chaotic expression of post-pandemic paranoia and overstimulation from the perspective of a blue-collar New Yorker.
