LR was born and raised in the Bronx New York, and is a member of the rap group Daclikk. He grew up listening to rappers such as Eminem, Big Pun, Fabolous, Jay Z, Fat Joe, Biggie, Jadakiss, and Lil Wayne, to name a few.
The adversity he faced growing up helped shape him into the artist he is today. Other artists such as Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Missy Elliot, Jackson 5, Mary J Blige, Dru Hill, and 112 taught him to enjoy the art of music as a whole.
