London, UK-based Airklipz and G.O.L.D. drop their new six-track GOLDEN KLIPZ EP, via Nyark Music

Nyark Music continues its relentless output with our eighth release of 2024. It’s time to take you down South, South East London to be precise, with a heavyweight six-track EP from two of the capital city’s finest… Airklipz and G.O.L.D. These two talented wordsmiths have known each other for years and this project has been something that has been manifesting for a few years. After a few months in their respective creative zones, we get this underground masterpiece titled ‘Golden Klipz’. Airklipz is no stranger to Nyark fans releasing ‘Smooth Street Lullabies’ with producer Thugs Bunny, a solo EP ‘Road Rhythms’, a collaboration EP with Nyark artist Hazz entitled ‘Higher Livin’ and more recently ‘reel Music’ and an EP with producer Midas Cash. G.O.L.D is known for his hard-hitting, street-inspired lyrics and smooth flow, drawing from his own life experiences and observations. He features heavily on Nyark’s upcoming fourteen-track compilation ‘Striving For Greatness’ and a string of other future Nyark releases.

Josh Esh gives up funk-fuelled dramatic groove for ‘Bareface’ which kicks off the proceedings with G.O.L.D giving us a quality display of his epic street commentary before Airklipz joins him with some thought-provoking bars. Next is the video track ‘Came Up On A Different Class’, a laid-back gem produced by Sunday that sees the London duo pay homage to their hometown Lewisham. Midas Cash gives up the first of three beats with the Jimmy Screech collaboration track ‘Greenfields’ before unleashing the EP’s next track ‘Tell The Truth’. The Ace Bimma produced ‘Perspective’ is a head-nodding piano-led banger that hits hard with its slowed-down unique hook line. The EP is wrapped up with the apt ‘Gone’, produced by Midas Cash, this track has a unique musicality that sees Airklipz & G.O.L.D flow with ease. ‘Golden Klipz’ is diverse, original, imaginative, timeless, cutting-edge and creatively adventurous. It’s an EP that fans of real Hip Hop will instantly add to their playlists…
