West Midlands-based emcee Hazz drops his SLOW BURNIN EP, featuring Airklipz, Wild Samson, LATE & more, via Nyark Music

Hazz is back on it with a new six-track EP worthy of your attention. Making moves in the underground rap scene for the last couple of years, Hazz is an artist that Nyark has produced to call our own. He has collaborated with the likes of Bisk and Mic Righteous and featured on tracks produced by the likes of Statik Selektah, Micall Parknsun, and Ray Vendetta. In 2024 he dropped his debut album ‘Feed The Flame’ in May and his second album ‘Let Me Live’ in November. As he gets to work on his third album we get the quality project to keep us going. ‘Slow Burnin’ features guest rappers Airklipz, Wild Samson, LATE, G.O.L.D, and Catsmoke, as well as production from Ace Bimma, Tide The Wave, Bop Phrases, Astro Blacksmith and Thugs Bunny. This gritty urban soundtrack is a new realm into sonic intensity and raw street realism, a body of work that encapsulates the art form of underground rap. Hazz’s influences are deeply rooted in UK street culture, but his sound transcends regional boundaries, appealing to fans of the underground rap scene worldwide.

The EP kicks off with the Ace Bimma produced ‘Back On It’, a laid-back piano-driven groove that sees Hazz do it with his unique style and Nyark authenticity. Next up sees Hazz join forces with respected UK rapper Catsmoke who smashes it on his Nyark debut over the first of two beats from Tide The Wave. Nyark label mate Airklipz features on ‘No Doubt’ produced by Bop Phrases which is complimented by a superb music video. The second of two beats from Tide The Wave sets the tone for the future anthem ‘Facts Of Life’ which features UK legend LATE and Nyark’s first-ever signing Wild Samson. Next up ‘What Goes Around’ which is a killer track produced by the talented Astro Blacksmith. The EP is rounded off with the title track ‘Slow Burnin’ which features G​.​O​.​L​.​D and is produced by Nyark regular Thugs Bunny. With street-savvy narratives and gritty subject matters ‘Slow Burnin’ is another solid release from Hazz. With a distinctive flow that leans into a laid-back yet impactful tone, his style resonates with both seasoned hip-hop fans and newcomers alike.
