Britain’s electro tinged bashment queen Lady Chann returns with ‘They Could Be’, the first track to be taken from her forthcoming five-track ‘Conspire’ E.P, produced in its entirety by UK garage legend Sticky.
Serving her signature fusion of dancehall with melodies, bass and electronic, over an infectious beat with enough rhythm to sway crowds, the up-tempo banger acts as the perfect summer anthem. With a strong sing-along vibe message – you don’t know who’s really watching you – it’s another strong chapter in her Dun Dem label catalogue.
Having recently toured China, visiting Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai, Lady Chann is set to conquer the summer with a strong line up of shows including Boiler Room, Highrise Festival, Outlook, Glastonbury and Boomtown Festival.
Her legendary ‘CORRUPCHANN‘ EP released earlier this year – saw Chann team up with some of the UK scene’s heavyweights including Flowdan, Stormin, Rage, Flirta D and D Power, reaffirming her premiership sing-jay status. With her own record label, a strong track record under her belt and an undoubtedly jam packed summer ahead, its safe to say that 2016 is Lady Chann’s for the taking.
