Capo Lee & Sir Spyro – Stop Talk EP (iTunes) + Tekkers & Stop Talk (Music Video)

Capo Lee & Sir Spyro recently dropped their STOP TALK EP and a couple of video to accompany it

Stop Talk delves deep into the coherent approach that Capo Lee and Spyro have musically built, each track is a perfectly crafted masterpiece full of Capo Lee’s distinct flow, laced with Spyro’s trademark ‘sound of the sir’ intro, with a perfectly balanced diet between weighty club banger’s and heartfelt truths from Lee’s personal life.

As if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, Woofer Music man Faze Miyake has blessed one of the tracks as a co-producer and added a completely new energy to the chemistry the dynamite duo creatively already hold.

East London resident Sir Spyro had been a busy lad last year. In addition to holding down a weekly show on Rinse FM and touring the world as the official DJ for Tinchy Stryder, Spyro finished up the year being dubbed ‘One of eleven producers behind your favorite grime tunes’ by THE FADER for producing the biggest tracks in grime. From Stormzy ‘Scary’ and P Money ‘10/10’ to MOBO nominated Ghetts track ‘Dun Know Already’ and his debut single ‘Topper Top’, a weighty club banger featuring Teddy Bruckshot, Lady Chann and Killa P, that’s accompanied by a visual that’s a strong contender for best grime video ever made.

In addition to making tunes with the veterans in grime, Spyro wasted no time working with north London’s up and coming DJ turned MC, Capo Lee, who had an explosive entry into the game in 2015 with Mystry produced single ‘Liff’. Spyro and Capo released the street anthem ‘MUD’ on the Rinse FM label in September 2016, then came together again a month later when Capo Lee presented ‘Why Not’, a ten track release made in ten hours down at Red Bull Studios alongside artists Y.G.G, Nico Lindsay and P Money, with production from Spyro, Spooky, Wardot, Footsie, D.O.K and JD Reid.

All three releases were well received, with Wonderland Magazine, Interview Magazine, Fact Magazine and Pigeons and Planes all featuring Capo and DJ’s Annie Mac, Annie Nightingale, MistaJam and Toddla T, (Radio 1), DJ Target and Sian Anderson (1Xtra), Shortee Blitz and MK (Kiss FM) and Manny Norte (Capital XTRA) all showing support to his records at radio.

With the aforementioned heavily supporting both collaborative releases and shows and radio set together up and down the country, it was only right they got back into studio together to nurture their combined creative and progress their collaborative sound. The outcome? ‘Stop Talk‘ EP… out now!
