Foreign Beggars ft. Izzie Gibbs & Dizmack – Toast (Music Video/GRM Daily/iTunes/Spotify) + 2017 Tour Dates

Today (09th Nov), Foreign Beggars return shortly after the release of TOAST, featuring Izzie Gibbs & Dizmack, to drop a dark, gritty video for the explosive new cut!

Premiered exclusively via GRM Daily, the Andy King directed video was filmed almost all entirely in B&W, following the artists throughout London at night. Scenes of each MC spitting their bars are interspersed with high contrast film images cut into a flick book speed montage. The use of a stark flash and experimental editing techniques result in a highly original video, offering something visually different to the norm.

‘Toast’ is the first single taken from their first solo album project since 2012, ‘2 2 Karma’. Slated for release February 2018, the highly anticipated album will feature artists and MCs including Kate Tempest, Izzie Gibbs, Dizmack, Marcello Spooks and Black Josh as well as production features from some of bass music’s most sought-after producers – Alix Perez, Ivy Lab and Feed Me.

Throughout their career, Foreign Beggars have built a steadfast reputation as one of the UK’s most versatile, creative and prolific acts through a continuing desire to push the envelope – a desire that is as urgent now as it has ever been and exemplified by ‘2 2 Karma’. By the very nature of the group and the array of featured artists, ‘2 2 Karma’ promises to be a sonically unique and skillful blend of the two worlds (urban/Hip Hop and underground bass/electronic) in which they have dominated throughout their career.

As a Hip Hop group, they have never sounded recycled or ‘American’ but represent everything that is inimitable about UK underground music.
