Hamburg, Germany based duo Soulbrotha drop their new video titled DIE ESSENZ, featuring David Pe of the Main Concept crew

12 Finger Dan and B-Base have carved a niche for themselves as a dope production and turntablist duo better known as Soulbrotha from Hamburg, Germany. As close protégé’s of the legendary DJ Premier, the duo already dropped releases with first-class guest appearances from Large Pro, Craig G, Afu Ra, Big Shug, Blaq Poet, Krumb Snatcha… just to name a few.

For their latest project, a personal reinterpretation of Gang Starr`s ‘Moment Of Truth’ album, they reloaded their SP1200’s to do what they do best: no-frills Boom Bap filled with real lyrics and dope scratches! This time they teamed up with MC’s from their home country, such as David Pe of the Main Concept crew.

The album ‘Moment Der Wahrheit‘ (German for ‘Moment Of Truth’) drops 31st March as a digital download and May 18th on double vinyl.
